Politics or Techy Toys?
It's the final countdown to both President Obama's State of the Union address and Apple's tablet announcement. Which one are you watching? If you ask the masses, the answer seems to be a resounding "APPLE!" A New York Daily News poll shows that 69% of voters think the tablet announcement is a bigger event than the State of the Union. Trending topics on Twitter show 50% topics related to the Apple tablet, while the President is represented only by one: "Union."
Have we lost all interest in current events and the state of our country? I think (I hope) the real reason is that the Apple event has been kept so secret and everyone wants to be the first to know. We all have some idea what President Obama is going to talk about. The excitement about a new technology device may say better things about our economy than our president can: we're ready to spend money. What are you watching?

I never thought that I will come across such a vivid post. The facts expressed by you are commendable & will be helpful for all. I never had this information earlier. Anyway the conclusion you presented here is really good.
